SHOULD IT BE AGAINST THE LAW???? pt2

I was just thinking, I was watching the news today and it actually was passed somewhere that they aren't allowed to spank kids! And really that is just crazy, because I had to spank my son in Walmart the other day!! Both of my boys were running around the store like they could, you know those bad kids that run around and no one does anything-well that was my kids that day. I was really frustrated and already gave them warnings, so I caught my 6 yr old and spanked him. Even though he laughed at me and said it didn't hurt-I guess I didn't really want it to hurt but I want to let him know I am serious and he needs to listen. So what if they passed that law here? What as parents are we supossed to do with our kids when they are just being bad in public and don't want to listen???Because if I have to go somewhere I have to take my kids with me and I can't always leave them at home. They just have to learn how to behave and that is what I am trying to teach them. So my conclusion is there is definately a difference between beating and spankings and I don't think anyone needs to get in other people's business unless they take those kids for a day and see how they really are! Any takers?????
