SHOULD IT BE AGAINST THE LAW?????

I was on my way to school today listening to the news and I heard that they are thinking about making it against the law to spank kids!!! That should be against the law!! How is someone else going to tell parents how to discipline kids! I think that there is a very fine line between discipling and child abuse. I remember my daughter coming home and telling me she learned how to dial 911, which is good. Then she told me that she would call if I hit her! Oh I couldn't even believe she said that, because I'm not really big on hitting anyway! But I ended up telling her I would give her the phone and dial the number for her. But I think that no one has a right to tell us how to discipline our kids unless it is abusive which means marks, bruises, or broken bones....So what do you think? Should it be against the law???????
